Hotel ZaZa

Hotel ZaZa not only conveys itself as luxury, it’s an ultra-hip hangout featuring 153 trendy rooms including 17 themed Concept Suites and opulent Seven Suites. Furnished with Italian linens and Molton Brown Bath amenities, each room features an extraordinary concept inspired from around the world, with a rich combination of sensual design. The hotel offers standard rooms that boast of contemporary decor with framed black-and-white Hollywood theme photographs as its highlight. If these are not enough luxury for you, consider the Suite options ranging from the Texas chic oil baron rooms, featuring Austin stone wall, cowhide, horns, and leather, to Zen bedrooms with a whirlpool spa overlooking the Dallas skyline.

Corinthian Bed & Breakfast

Travel back in time while you stay in this historic property built in 1905. Unlike most hotels in Dallas, Corinthian Bed & Breakfast is located in a quiet neighborhood, but at the same time, it allows an easy access to the city center. The innkeeper, Dan, has carefully restored and converted the house into a B&B, while retaining the classical style. Furnished with inlaid flooring made of original hardwood – complete with a beautiful Corinthian decoration on the front porch, Corinthian Bed & Breakfast is the perfect choice for travelers on vacation or even business.

Belmont Hotel

Have you stayed at a boutique motel yet? Look no further, here’s the hippest hotel in town, converted from a Vintage 1946 Motor Inn. With contemporary interiors, the Belmont Hotel offers standard rooms as well as suites and bungalows. Although all the rooms are unique, their Terrace Suite with a hot tub on a private patio facing the city is one of a kind. Perched on a North Oak Cliff hilltop, guests will enjoy the dramatic skyline views from the poolside. In case you’re just visiting the city for a day, consider heading to the Bar Belmont for an icy martini, and who knows, you might even witness an art opening or a music festival, all with a splendid view.

‘M’ Streets Guest Cottage

This newly renovated cottage is not a hotel, but a cozy getaway listed on Airbnb. The cottage is located on the ‘M’ street in Lower Greenville, a historic neighborhood that offers plenty of restaurants and bars to unwind after an eventful sightseeing in Dallas. Built in 1937, the cottage is a one bedroom loft that features a modern decor with a vintage twist. In such a small space, you’ll be amazed to see the impeccable attention to detail. An element that stands out the most is the bright mustard yellow color door against the wooden wall and furniture. In addition to a great value for money, guests have access to free parking in front of the house.

Getting Around on a Budget

If you’re visiting the city, chances are you will most likely head to Downtown Dallas. The good news is that you’ll not need a car as the city is walk able. However, the city’s well-connected rails and buses can easily get you around. Another affordable option is to use the trolley that stops at several tourist attractions including the Dallas Museum of Art.

A friend and I from out of town stayed three nights at ZaZa and were just blown away by this place. Not only is it completely gorgeous and full of beautiful art but the staff was out of this world. They treated us so well and made sure every minute was just as perfect as it possibly could be
